How will you present your project?
This outcome will be presented in the form of an online video with the mp4 format so that it is easily accessed on a variety of devices. The main platform would be youtube. Hypothetically, I would also play the opening as the game itself would open for the first time and have an option to review it in the main menu.
Why will you present it this way?
There are many ways of streaming online video and it allows the video to be presented on every possibly necessary device. I chose the mp4 format because it is typically high quality and takes very little storage for its quality. I would use youtube because it is the most popular video streaming service.

Starcraft 2's (in my opinion) legendary cinematic that served as the initial inspiration for the very premise of this project. I found the cinematic awe inspiring back when I was 12 and 7 years later I find it motivating in equal amounts. My only complaint is that it ends.
There was a reason I was so excited for Battle for Azeroth but the above cinematic wasn't it, it was actually Kul'Tiras and the notion of an old god expansion, which I did call by the way... even if I wished I was wrong when it turned out that I was right. Regardless, I love Blizzard's cinematic quality which they have never disappointed with, especially with Anduin's mid cinematic character development but I wish the cinematic was more relevant to the rest of the story of that expansion.
Despite that movement in this cinematic appears a bit more cartoony then you'd expect, I love the appeal that it brings and it stops the cinematic from feeling absolutely soul crushing. Was that the right call for Demon's souls? Who knows. I have to mention the water splashes when the main character is thrown back and fumbles for his weapon. That was potentially a subconscious inspiration for the flooding submarine idea.
I only discovered that Dark Souls 2 had a cinematic trailer recently. I absolutely love the cinematic visual compositions within this trailer and I find it surprisingly artistic for a game that is unapologetically designed to kill you unfairly, for the most part.
Unlike Dark Souls 2's trailer, this trailer is suitably artistic and befitting of its game. It makes very little sense but looks awesome. Its a nice touch that every character shown in the trailer is someone you meet in game as a boss or npc.
Above is the final outcome of my project, it is an opening cinematic turned animation showcase that follows the trails of surviving a flooded earth with mutated fish people.
