College/ Universities/ Career information
College Visitation Days : Juniors and Seniors may be excused from school for the purpose of visiting college campuses (3 days per school year for Juniors and 5 days per school year for Seniors). A request form must be submitted to the counselor at least two days in advance for approval. An unexcused absence will be recorded without the proper approval.
To request the permission slip for a College Visitation Day, please stop in the Guidance office for a form.
Kankakee Community College, Early College Program & SACHS:
In order to be eligible for participation in the Kankakee Community College’s (KCC) Early College Program a student must meet the following criteria as well as complete the SACHS application and KCC’s Early College Program application. {Please note, your participation in this program could change/affect your status for some universities and colleges. You may be considered as a transfer student rather than a freshman when applying. This can affect FAFSA eligibility as well as student eligibility for scholarships. You are encouraged to begin the communication with the college/university you are interested in attending early, in regards to your participation in this Early College Program. This will be your responsibility.} Please understand that spots for the Early College Program from St. Anne Community High School are very limited. Not all that apply will be able to attend or will be deemed appropriate for such a program.
