This study will focus on a cross-disciplinary, prospective study that combines the research base of digital learning and cognitive science. The scope of the research will cover cognitive and psychological research on mobile and game-based learning, information processing models, cognitive strategy research, human-computer interaction models, interaction design research, human-computer interface design, learner-digital content interaction, e-learning computational models, e-learning attention distribution, e-learning cognitive load, and e-learning and brain science. In particular, mobile learning and game-based e-learning or gamification will be the two e-learning contexts that will be studied in depth in this study.
