Well, hello there!
Welcome! I'm Mrs. Krysten Case, and this will be my 15th year teaching at Hamilton Elementary. Most of that time has been second grade, because teaching second grade is my jam! I love second graders because they are learning to be so independent and their personalities really grow. The best part is that every year, I get to watch my second graders discover that they can do SO much more than they realized!

I earned my Early Childhood Education degree from Ohio Dominican University, and my Master's in Differentiated Instruction from Graceland University. I love learning new things, and I am currently taking classes to learn Spanish. It's been wonderful to learn to communicate with others in a new language. It's definitely one of the biggest challenges I've ever taken on!
I was born right here in Columbus and I love my hometown! I now live in Grove City with my husband Todd and our little miniature dachshund, Sizzle.
When I'm not teaching, I love to read, cook, and make jewelry. My husband and I also enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and watching the Reds play baseball!
My favorite place is the ocean! Every creature in the sea is fascinating to me, and there's never an end to the new things you can discover!
Our children are grown and have started families of their own, so we enjoy lots of time with our dog Sizzle these days! He's a tiny little guy with LOTS of personality!
Sizzle definitely keeps us busy! He loves to go for walks, fetch sticks, snuggle, and eat lots of treats! We like his funny facial expressions and his floppy ears! I'm sure you'll see lots of pictures of Sizzle in our classroom this year!
