8th Grade

Class Expectations:

  • Respect: yourself, others, property, the planet and your right to education

  • Be on time to and adequately prepared for class (see materials section)

  • Be open to new information and experiences

  • Raise your hand to participate in class discussions and listen to whoever is speaking

  • At no point should you be in physical contact with other humans

  • Phones should be silenced and somewhere out of sight

  • If you need to borrow something, ask permission first

  • Clean up after yourself/put items in their designated spot following activities

  • Keep it classy and keep it moving; your experience and enjoyment of this course directly correlates to the actions of yourself and your class

Materials Needed:

  • Charged Chromebook; you may bring your charger to class if needed

  • Pencil w/ eraser

  • Pen

  • Science specific lab notebook

  • Science specific folder

  • Current textbook; our "textbooks" are more like work books that correspond to the online Science Fusion curriculum and resource modules. Students will write in these books, potentially complete assignments directly in the book, and get to keep their textbooks.

*Students may occasionally need other materials for specific projects or labs. Students and families will be notified at least a few days in advance of these needs.
