Edgar School District Mental Health Initiatives

  • Onsite counseling provided by True North Counseling and Wellness Center - Counselor Ann Dixon, provides mental health counseling to Edgar School District students by appointment onsite throughout the school year and summer! For more information see Mrs. Doll, Mrs. Koehler, or Mrs. Pritzel.

  • Yearly administration of BASC-3 BESS Assessment - designed to quickly and efficiently assess the behavioral and emotional risks and overall mental health status of children ages 3 to 18.


  • Active, ongoing mental health committee - established in the spring of 2015 as part of a school wide initiative to better meet the mental health needs of Edgar students and their families
