Reading: Work on your Adventures in Reading project
Adventures in Reading: Students should be finished with their book. Next week’s homework is working on their project for at least 30 minutes each night. We went over the project choices, and I gave them a copy of the choice board to take home. Here is a digital copy: Adventures in Reading 2026. Projects are due on Monday, April 13.

April 6: Students will be riding bikes on a loop around the school during PE. Ms. Monet invites your child to bring their own bike helmet to school that day (road bikes and helmets will be provided but some kids like to bring their own helmet).
April 13-16: I will be teaching Erin’s Law Abuse Prevention lessons (Mr. Craft sent more information about the lessons in his most recent newsletter)
April 21: Earth Day Celebration
April 29: 4-6 pm Art Night
May 8: Field trip to the High Desert Museum (permission slips went home today)
June 2: 5th Grade Talent Show (permission slips were given to students who want to participate, and forms are due on May 8)
