Read I Wanna New Room by Karen Kaufman Orloff
Have students create blueprints of their very own “Dream Rooms,” complete with every feature they can dream up. Have them calculate the areas and perimeters of the different features of their rooms.
Read What to do with a Box by Jane Yolen
Have students create something useful out of a box! They can research ideas online or let their imaginations run wild, but their creativity will be sure to amaze you.
Students could do a group project on 1-4 boxes.
Students could make it at home and take a picture of their creation
