Welcome to the home page of Prof. Hsin-Lung Chenˇs research group at the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University.
The primary research interests of our group are exploration of the self-assembly behavior of soft matter with potential applications in biomedicines, opto-electronics and nanopatterning. The materials under investigation include block copolymers, electrostatic complexes of DNA and conjugated semiconducting polymers. We attempt to establish the correlation between the self-assembled nanostructures and the functional properties (e.g. gene transfection efficiency for DNA complexes, photophysical properties for conjugated polymers).
