Purpose of the Event
With the steady rise of technological literacy among young people, educational robotics competitions have become highly popular and widely participated in, serving as an inspiring form of science education. The 4th Taiwan Youth Educational Robotics Olympiad upholds the spirit of artificial intelligence and promotes the application of generative AI. Its mission is to cultivate students’ understanding of AI technologies and their ability to innovate, while strengthening teamwork and problem-solving skills to enhance technological literacy and global competitiveness. This year’s competition integrates artificial intelligence, generative technologies, and educational principles. Through designing and applying AI-powered robots and exploring diverse generative AI scenarios, the event provides valuable opportunities for youth aspiring to enter future technology fields to broaden their horizons and put creativity into practice. As a national selection platform, top-performing participants will have the chance to qualify as representatives of Taiwan in international competitions, engaging with outstanding young talents worldwide and showcasing Taiwan’s potential and innovation in technology.Additionally, the competition follows the Olympic spirit and the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) principle. It does not restrict participants to specific robot platforms and instead encourages them to bring the devices they are most skilled in using to compete in suitable robotics categories, fostering diversity, innovation, and technical freedom.Goals:- Promote AI literacy and robotics talent cultivation
- Support students in qualifying to represent Taiwan in international competitions
- Strengthen inter-school friendship and collaboration through AI-focused activities
- Provide high school volunteers with official service-hour certification
