TRYOUT INFORMATION

2025-2026 Ganado Tryout clinic Information and Important Dates

Mandatory Parent Meeting Thursday February 24th in the Cafeteria at 6:00

• Tryout Clinic dates: 

• March 3rd 6-8 pm (Mandatory) 

• March 4th 6-7 (Junior High only) 

• March 5th 5:00-Until finished (Mock-tryouts-Mandatory) 

• Cheer candidates will work on jumps, motions, spiriting, cheer, and dance (high school is dance only) 

• Please be on time and dressed appropriately to the clinic (t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, hair out of face and NO JEWELRY)

• Parents are not allowed in the gym during the tryout clinic! After the clinic is over each day, candidates must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of each day. 

• Outside help is permitted; however DO NOT ask for outside help from a clinic leader. 

Day of tryouts March 7th at 9:00 am

• Cheer candidates must be at the gym no later than 8:30 to warm up and stretch. 

• Tryout Attire:Solid White shirts, solid color shorts or skirt-Nike shorts or other brands with a small check or logo is fine. Bows are permitted and encouraged to wear. Cheer shoes are also permitted. Shoes must be all white. 

• Once tryouts are completed you must exit the gym, change into your school clothes and go back to school. 

• Results will be posted on the GISD school website. 

******Average cost for cheer is between $1,000 to 1,700.********
