Ganado Education Foundation FAQ

How much of my donation goes towards the students?

-It all does. Everyone volunteers, so there are no salaries. The Foundation Board members donate as well as even purchase their own shirts. All board members have a strong commitment that all funds go to benefit the students of Ganado ISD.

We already pay taxes. Why should we donate to the Ganado Education Foundation?

-Tax dollars support mandated education. Foundation funding enhances the educational system, making it possible to offer Ganado ISD students the highest quality educational opportunities and experiences. In this case it offers tuition help for College Coursework that also counts as High School credit as well as paying for Teacher Grants that improve instruction in their classroom.

How does the Ganado Education Foundation benefit students?

-The foundation supports student programs, projects, and initiatives that do not receive tax-based funding. It also promotes and recognizes academic excellence by students and innovative instruction by teachers and staff.
