The National Deaf Juniors Pickleball Tournament is an initiative proudly hosted by Gallaudet University Athletics. Our mission is to create inclusive, competitive, and community-building opportunities for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing student-athletes across the country.
Our team includes staff, club student leaders, and volunteers committed to growing the sport of Pickleball and fostering an inclusive community. Whether it’s organizing clinics and tournaments or mentoring new players, we are here to make this event a success.
As the new school year approaches, the excitement for Pickleball is palpable among students, staff, and educators. This initiative enriches the athletic offerings at Gallaudet and sets a new standard for inclusivity and lifelong fitness in school sports. By fostering strong partnerships and community support, Pickleball is poised to become a cornerstone of the student-athlete experience within the Gallaudet community. With its focus on teamwork, accessibility, and fun, Pickleball inspires students to embrace active and connected lifestyles on and off the court.
