Classes begin Monday, September 15th and end Friday, December 12th.

At least five people are needed for a course to be offered.
Water Aerobics
Instructor: Tramell Henson
Besides being gentle on your joints, water aerobics has many other benefits! Ready to improve your flexibility and cardio fitness? Build strength? Boost your mood? Then try out this low impact water aerobics class.

Introduction to Martial Arts
Instructor: Jennifer Herzog
Learn basic martial arts techniques from a certified instructor with 20 years of martial arts experience. Learning martial arts can offer physical and mental benefits, such as improved fitness, discipline, and self-confidence. The class will show the essentials in martial arts, guiding you through the foundational moves, body mechanics, and safety tips that every budding martial artist needs to know. You will have the opportunity to work with Deaf 4th Degree black belt in Taekwondo and two-time World Champion.

Total Body Workout
Instructor: Jennifer Herzog
Join this workout taught by a Deaf instructor with 20 years of martial arts experience and tournament training. This fitness program combines martial arts techniques and body weight to make calorie-burning workouts. The class will combine exercises that use the upper and lower body as well as focus on your core muscles.

Yoga (Online)
Instructor: Barbara Eger-Klatt
Barbara has taught yoga since 2012. This class will teach you YogAlign which helps you rewire your brain to correct your posture. The poses are safe, reflecting daily real-life movement. Learn to inhale and exhale while you move in a pose and focus on how your body feels in that moment. The instructor knows how to teach yoga through a Deaf person’s perspective because she is Deaf and knows ASL.
Mondays & Thursdays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Registration fee:
$150 for faculty & staff
$125 student or alums.
Regular full-time Faculty & Staff are eligible for a $75 incentive/rebate provided by Human Resources Services IF you attend at least 90% of classes held for the course!
