I was born and raised in the city of San Francisco. My undergraduate degree was in Physical Education, and my masters degree is in Exercise Science and Physical Education. I am currently studying for a Ph.D in Kinesiology at George Mason University. I've taught, coached and worked with children for 20+ years in grades Pre-K-12.

I was born in Boston and grew up in Coral Gables, Florida. My undergrad major was sociology, my masters is in health planning, Doctorate in Therapeutic applied gerontological research. During my undergrad years I worked as a casino change girl, waitress, short order cook; enrolled in circus PE class... trained for ~ 3 weeks as a trapeze artist (had to withdraw from class.. air sickness!)
