The Benefits!!!
Students receive tutoring during school hours and after-school, which helps prepare them for college by improving their grades.
Students spend six weeks on NCMC campus, which reduces anxieties about attending college and familiarizes students with life on a college campus.
Students get a jump start on upcoming fall classes with summer Upward Bound academic courses.
Students earn stipends monthly during the academic year and weekly during the summer program. Students earn stipends by attending Xtreme Saturdays, attending UB's school visits, and through academic advising.
