Mrs. Ramey's 7th grade Science classes were challenged to create an apparatus that would allow their raw egg to be safely dropped from a distance of about 20 feet. The students were very creative in their designs.

Mrs. Leonard's 7th Grade Math Students created a "human-number line to review absolute value and the distance from zero. They played card games ("Crazy Match" (like UNO), "Pairs Challenge", and "Concentration") to determine distance between integers on a number line. Students had to identify matching cards that shared the same distance between 2 given integers, and reviewed perfect squares and defined square roots using "Perfect Square" models made out of Cheez-its.

Lauren Bouchard, Alex Harris, and Emma Barkley girls raised $119 through their Lemonade Stand on Saturday to earn the 5th grade honors!
