Independent Research in Art students are advanced art students who have taken three years or more of art and work independently on their projects. Earth Science classes at GHS are currently plotting the path of all 2018 Atlantic named storms. Hurricane Florence has added an element of current event to our study!
Spanish 1 classes are learning about numbers and quantities in Spanish. Spanish 2 classes are Reading a children's story and using it to practicing pronunciation of Spanish words and review grammatical principals learned in Spanish 1. Spanish 3 classes are working on describing what happened in the past using the preterite tense.
Military Science
New Military Science I student cadets learning to drill and being led by Cadet SSG Brown and Commanding Officer Cadet CAPT Adams.
This week in Algebra 1, students have been continuing to review properties. They have also been using different strategies to distribute and combine like terms. In Algebra 2, students have started learning how to graph absolute value functions and learning how changes in the equation change the slope, vertical shift and phase shift.
