Library Policies

• The library is open to all students at Rancho Cotate High School. A student entering the library during class time must have a pass from a teacher one pass per student.

• You will need your 5-digit student ID number to check out books.

• You are responsible for ALL items checked out in your name. This includes lost and stolen books. Every book has a unique barcode. You must return items with the specific barcodes that are attached to your name and I.D. number in order to clear your record.

Computers Lab Use

• In order to use any computer in the school, you must have a signed network agreement on file.

• You are asked to use your default password and then create a secure password. (Ask the Library Staff how).

• No food or drink is allowed near the computers.

• You may not visit offensive sites that contain racist, sexist, or violent content or images. Gaming is allowed; however, all games must be school-appropriate.

• Shooter games or any games that involve killing (i.e. Fortnite) are not allowed.
