Requirements
Cadets are permitted ponytail, two braids, or one singular braid in all uniforms
hair holding ornaments clear or hair color (barrettes, pins)
Only one ring per hand can be worn.
Black socks or nylons (nude, beige, tan, taupe) must be worn.
Only one set of stud earrings can be worn that coincide to each other. (gold, silver, white pearl or diamond not to exceed 1/4inch diameter. Must fit snuggly against the ear.
No flashy or an excessive amount of make-up should be worn.
Only clear, skin tone, or natural color nail polish is acceptable.
Class A
Rank: 1/2 inch from the edge of the shoulder seam. Arrows always point toward the collar.
Star: Centered (left-right) 1/4 inch above the nametag.
Academic Wreath: A Gold wreath is authorized by cadets in the top 10% of each JROTC Let class, based on grades. Subsequent awards are indicated by a felt pad center background.
Second- Red
Third -Silver
Fourth -Gold
Name Tag: The bottom of the nametag is aligning with the top of the first button; centered on the seam.
School Crest: Centered between the second and third button, placed on the seam.
Ribbons: 1/8 " over left of coat pocket. Precedence. National-Army- Schools(competition i.e., ribbons)
Medals are only worn during Military Ball and Pass & review.
Pins: How worn: No more than 8 team pins (arcs) may be worn with no more than four team pins (arcs) in one row and with 1/8 inch between pins. On the C/ASU coat and the Class B shirt, team pins (arcs) will be worn in alphabetical order from top to bottom, left to right parallel to the waistline of the coat, beginning at the centerline of the 2nd and 3rd button. When two rows of team pins (arcs) are worn, they are worn with 1/2 inch between rows. Females may adjust placement of team pins (arcs) to conform to individual body-shape differences. When wearing the JROTC team pin on the C/ASU, the cord for the activity cannot also be worn simultaneously. USACC Reg 145-02, 12 Aug 2022.
JROTC Pin (Officers): Placed diagonally on the upper lapel.
Cords: A maximum of two cords can be worn.
Leadership cord goes on the ribbon side which is your Left
Team cord goes on the Name tag side which is your right
You cannot wear 2 team cords
