Yoonshin Kwak 곽윤신
Assistant Professor, PhD
Dr. Yoonshin Kwak is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture at Gachon University. His research explores various strategies for enhancing the resilience of landscapes, particularly in the context of dynamic urban systems. His teaching lies at the intersection of quantitative research, spatial modeling and evidence-based landscape design. He received his doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his master’s degree from the University of Washington. His works have been published in various peer-reviewed journals, including Landscape and Urban Planning, Journal of Environmental Management, and Computers, Environment and Urban Systems.
