LAandscape dynamics and Regional Planning (LARP) Lab explores the integration of landscape research and environmental planning, with a focus on regional resilience. Employing cross-disciplinary methods that include spatial modeling, machine learning, and evidence-based design, our research broadly investigates how cities operationalize resilience at multiple scales and how urban dynamics engage in critical landscape planning+design. Our ultimate goal is to contribute multi-scale and multi-disciplinary insights that inform more sustainable planning and design addressing regional dynamics. 

LARP 연구실은 조경연구와 환경계획의 융합적 접근을 바탕으로, 지역의 사회적·생태적 탄력성 강화를 핵심 과제로 삼고 있습니다. 공간 분석 및 시나리오 시뮬레이션, 머신러닝과 인공지능, 근거기반 디자인 등 간학문적 기법을 활용하여 복합적인 도시환경 시스템을 연구합니다. 본 연구실은 지역적 역학(regional dynamics)에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 지속가능한 계획 및 설계 전략을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하며, 다양한 스케일과 분야를 아우르는 융합적 지식의 생산을 지향합니다.
