Research

Soft Semiconductor Electronics Lab has concentrated on developing high-performance Field-Effect Transistors (FETs) and structure-driven multifunctional electronics. By facilitating stimuli-responsive semiconductor and dielectric layers, the optoelectronic devices can be triggered by external conditions such as light, humidity, temperature, confinement effect, and so on. Based on the multifunctionalities of the FETs, we have demonstrated energy-efficient applications such as chiral light detector, multivalued-logic system, encryption device, and synaptic transistors to overcome conventional binary system.  We're going to extend research area related to memory and neuromorphic devices, physical unclonable functions, and so on by tuning molecular orientation and device configuration.
