Meet Ashley Brooke Strand

Catholic comedian, speaker, improv instructor, and the woman who went from trying new age and star charts in Hollywood to a Rosary moment that brought her to her knees and into the Church. (She could NOT have made this up. She tried. She’s a comedian.)

With a background in Hollywood, a childhood in evangelical Protestantism, and a rocky detour through Eastern spirituality, Ashley’s conversion story is anything but ordinary: from star charts to the Sacred Heart, from burnout to surrender.

After years in the entertainment industry, professional improv training at The Groundlings, IO West, and UCB — and a seven-year dark night of the soul after entering the Church — God broke through. And He did it with laughter. Naturally.

Now Ashley is on a mission to bring that joy to audiences everywhere, because she genuinely believes a laughing Catholic is an evangelizing Catholic.
