In the name of the Father, (using your right hand touch your forehead with two fingers)

and of the Son,  (touch your chest with two fingers)

and of the Holy Spirit.  (touch your left shoulder on "Holy" and your right shoulder on "Spirit")

Hail Mary, full of grace

the Lord is with you.

Angel of God

my guardian dear,

to whom God's love

Prayer of Sorrow

My God,

I am sorry for my sins

with all my heart.

In choosing to do wrong

and failing to do good

I have sinned against you

whom I should love

above all things.

I firmly intend, with your

help, to do penance,

to sin no more, and to avoid

whatever leads me to sin.

Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.

I confess to almighty God,

Son of the Father,

you take away the sins of the world,

have mercy on us;

receive our prayer;

you are seated at the right hand 

of the Father, have mercy on us.

For you alone are the Holy One,

you alone are the Most High,

Jesus Christ,
