Mrs. Sara Cornetti
Kindergarten
I am certified in both Elementary and Special Education and hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I’ve had the joy of working with young children for over 25 years, and this will be my fifth year teaching at Guardian Angel Academy, fourth year in kindergarten.
Prior to joining GAA, I served as Director of the Crafton United Methodist Child Learning Center for 10 years, where I also taught Pre-Kindergarten. I’ve taught Preschool and Pre-K for more than two decades, including five years at St. Philip School. In addition, I worked as a part-time instructor with grades K–12 through PA Learners Online, the cyber school operated by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 (AIU3).
Teaching young children has always been my passion, and I feel incredibly blessed to return to the kindergarten classroom again this year. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two wonderful children—Aden, a graduate of St. Philip School and OLSH, and Eliana, a proud GAA alumna who will also be attending OLSH.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, laughter, and growth!
