Issue # 2 - September 23, 2022
Dear GAA Families,
It was a pleasure to see so many families at last week’s face to face Back-to-School Nights. Working together with parents and creating channels for meaningful feedback and effective communication is an important part of GAA education. We remain steadfast in our mission of teaching empathy and creating a positive and caring school culture that encourages student inquiry, problem-solving, and the creative process. With a strong parent/teacher partnership and a commitment to the stated priorities, we will create more confident students, prepared for the future, with the conviction to make a positive impact in their communities. We will follow up the Back-to-School Night event with individually scheduled Parent/Teacher conferences as we progress through the first term.
We continue to encourage all students to take advantage of the daily opportunities offered in the classroom, but also in the extra-curricular academic, athletic, and artistic programs that are now up and running. Student participation on a team, in a play, or in a musical group strengthens our school, builds a team, and increases supportive and trusting relationships. It is also a lot of fun and a good way to make friends that share the same interests. Should you have any questions regarding the extracurricular offerings or the process for participation please reach out and I will direct you to a member of our team that will be happy to help.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Robert Rinaldo
Head of School
