Hello GAA Parents and Students,

We are about to begin the Holy month of Ramadan. We wish our Muslim families Ramadan Kareem! May the month bring blessings to you and your family.

We know that 2020 has been a year of firsts. I am proud of the way our students, families, and teachers have adjusted to the challenges of our current situation. We anticipate another adjustment for Ramadan, which will impact school beginning 26 April. We have communicated with our teachers about working with students and families during this time. We will work hard to balance the needs of students with the need to continue learning during this month. Please communicate with teachers about concerns. Several of our teachers are new to the UAE and do not have much experience with Ramadan. Assume positive intentions and help them understand the culture so that they can make more informed decisions.
