October 7, 2021 Issue (next issue on October 28, 2021)
Since we are now all into a more regular routine, we want to start having parent meet ups. This is a casual time to meet other parents. These are “no host/pay as you order” meetups. We would like to do these monthly. To make sure we cover a variety of schedules, we have 3 dates you can choose or come to all 3.
Tuesday, October 12 at 12 noon – La Brioche (next to GAA). They accept the Entertainer.
We hope you can make one or more of these meetups.
So we can make reservations, please RSVP. Let us know your attendance by completing this quick Google Form: https://forms.gle/bK2f9wedPzRx575J6
We look forward to seeing you all!

We present to you GAAPA Community Resource Guide, compiled with the help of our members, fellow GAA families.
We understand the struggles each family faces when moving to a new country, new school, new residence, as we have all been through the same. It is only natural that we want to support each other as a Community.
This website is designed to provide that helpful information for all our community members. Your feedback and contribution will be highly appreciated to make sure that information is accurate and up-to-date. You can recommend your resource by clicking below link:
Dear GAA Families,
This school year has been a challenge for sure! In order to help connect our families we have started WhatsApp Groups for each grade level. This is a good place to ask questions, get information, etc. We do ask that these groups are only used for school purposes and stay positive. We want to help develop a great community at GAA and the pandemic has made it challenging. We hope these groups will help. If you would like to join, please email our Parent Ambassadors for the link at gaa.parentsteam@gmail.com
MISSION STATEMENT
An excellent and successful school depends on the healthy partnership between teachers, parents, students and the community. As the identified parent association, GAAPA’s mission is to work in collaboration with the school to encourage a sense of community through events and activities that enrich our children’s educational experience at GEMS American Academy. GAAPA will support, assist and cooperate in events aligned with the school program. GAAPA believes in fostering the tradition of kindness and caring that exists within the school. Within our vast community of learners, we would like to promote the notion of unity in diversity that promotes an acceptance of different cultures and people.
If you wish to join, please feel free to contact our PRE Fatma Chabanova at pre_gaa@gemsedu.com for more information.
Thanks for stopping by the GAAPA Page, we hope to see you soon!
GO WILDCATS!
