• Common App Personal Statement Workshop on Thursday, November 24th, from 12.30 to 1.30

• Create a Common Application(CA) account and link it to Unifrog .

• Select one university on their Common Application so that they may complete the FERPA waiver. This is an important step as teachers cannot upload letters of recommendation unless students have completed the waiver.

• Enter all the universities they are applying to and enter the application deadline for each university. Their list will automatically appear on unifrog if the accounts are linked.

• Communicate with their teachers with respect to letters of recommendation. They were urged to give teachers adequate notice and time to write the letters.

• Keep their counselor informed of their registration of EMSAT and email the results once received.

• Fill in the counselor brag sheet.

• Schedule a meeting with their counselor if they have not done so already.

Study Medicine or Dentistry with Medical Doorway Student and Parent Webinar

The webinar will be taking place at 3 pm on Tue 29th November.

During this session, we will talk about the work of Medical Doorway and university options in the UK, Czech Republic, Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. We will be taking everyone through the application and selection procedures for each university and highlighting the free-of-charge support Medical Doorway offers. We are uniquely placed to help students negotiate this process and secure enrolment paperwork and the visa for their chosen destination of study.

The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with higher education institutions and Scholarships department is providing Grade 12 UAE National students and children of UAE National mothers of the current academic year 2022-2023, who wish to pursue higher education in AY 2023- 2024, have an excellent opportunity to pursue higher education through a unified and centralized registration system.

Through the unified registration portal, students can apply to higher education institutions in the UAE and/or register for top universities outside the country under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education.
