Issue # 12 - March 7, 2025
Last week PreK A had a fantastic time exploring the Emirates Zoo! The weather was perfect for an outdoor adventure, and our young explorers were thrilled to find animals they already knew while discovering new ones along the way. One of the highlights of the trip was feeding the giraffes, camels, and goats—an experience full of giggles and excitement! The children showed curiosity and confidence as they asked questions and learned fun facts about the animals. They also enjoyed a picnic snack with their friends, making the day even more special.
It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to our families for your support in making this trip possible—we can’t wait for our next adventure!
Our Grade 2 class has been having an amazing time this year! We recently went on a fun field trip to Kidz Factory, where we explored the world of states of matter. It was a perfect way to tie into our “How the World Works” unit. The kids had a blast making slime, creating sub-zero ice cream, and watching lava in action! It was not only a great learning experience, but also helped build their teamwork, communication skills, and love for exploring new ideas. We’re looking forward to more exciting adventures ahead!
This week, our class 2D had an amazing time kicking off the Battle of the Books! Everyone was excited to read There’s a Rang-Tan in My Bedroom and Love, the Earth, and the best part was voting for their favorite. Some loved the powerful message about protecting animals, while others enjoyed learning how to care for our planet. It was a tough choice, but the class had so much fun sharing their thoughts and debating which book should move forward!
