Dear Kindergarten families,
June has arrived and it is such a bittersweet time of year as we celebrate each and every student as well as saying our farewells and wishing them well for next year. Last week, KG2 promotion went digital and it was a fun and reflective experience for students. A sincere thank you to all of you for supporting promotion week. It was great to see students engaged in the range of activities and seeing their excitement during live sessions reflecting on their year!
As we begin to finish up the year, we continue to plan ahead to prepare for our new cohort of KG1 students as well as our returning students heading into KG2. I am particularly excited for our KG dismissal time moving to 2:15pm. Thank you for all of your feedback and support as we navigated this time shift. This will enable our KG students to finish school a little earlier than Elementary and Secondary.
It has been a year filled with so many memories such as sports day, community shares, book week, field trips, performances and so much more. It has also been a year that has demonstrated our resilience, community and endurance during unprecedented times. Thank you, for being part of your child’s learning journey and for always supporting us to ensure they have the best experience in KG.
Have a safe and restful summer break.
