Kindergarten

In KG1G we are settling back into our school routine and reviewing rules and routines. The children have been responsible technology users and principled throughout daily engagements.

Welcome to 2020! KG2 are excited to be back at school. The students are eager to get back to work and are thoroughly enjoying the start of the new term. Term 2 is always an exciting time for us as students start to read and there is an abundance of story-telling. When your child gets home, ask them to tell you a story about their day!

مازلنا في هذا الفصل مع صفوف الرّوضة الأولى في برنامج منهج السّنوات الابتدائية في الوحدة الثّانية: مشاركة الكواكب. من خلال هذه الوحدة سنقوم بمراجعة الحروف التي تمّت دراستها مع التّركيز على حرف السّين مع الصّوت القصير (الفتحة) وعرض مفردات تحتوي على الحرف وترتبط بالوحدة مثل: السّاق والشّمس وغيرها بالإضافة الى عمل مجموعة من الأنشطة المختلفة التي تساعد الطّلاب في عملية التّعلم.

أما بالنّسبة للرّوضة الثّانية مازلنا بالوحدة الثّانية من مشاركة الكواكب، خلال هذه الوحدة سوف نركز على الأشياء الحية وغير الحية ومن خلالها سوف نقوم بمراجعة أساليب الحوار والحروف السّابقة التي تمت دراستهامع البدء بشرح حرف الشّين مع الصّوت القصير والصوت الطّويل.إضافة إلى قراءة كلماتٍ وجملٍ بسيطة تحتوي على المفردات المرتبطة بهذه الوحدة مع عمل مجموعات من الأنشطة المختلفة الي تحبب الطّلاب في التّعلم.

Happy New Year! In this semester, the kindergarten classes (KG1) will focus on Unit Two: Planets Participation. Through this unit, we will review the letters we had studied before , focusing on the “ س” letter and its short sound (fatha) and displaying vocabulary containing this letter and relevant to the unit such as: الساق ، الشمس , etc. Also we will go through a set of different activities that assist students in the learning process

As for the kindergarten (KG2), we are still in the second unit of Planets Participation. During this unit we will focus on living and non-living things, and we will review the methods of dialogue and previous letters that have been studied. The start will be explaining the “ش” letter with its short and long sounds. In addition to reading simple words and phrases that include vocabulary associated with this unit, while making groups of different activities that evoke students love learning.

In KG Performing Arts, students have been learning about how to express themselves through imagination and drama! Most recently, they learned how to use our materials to create sets and scenes for familiar stories like The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They also used their imagination to create sets using their own ideas and stories.

• January 29-30: Elementary Musical "Madagascar Jr" @6:30pm in the Auditorium
• January 30: Half-Day, school dismisses @12:00. Also a Dress Down Day/Pizza Day
