Dear GAA families,

As we wind down towards the end of January, we were delighted to welcome back our students for face-to-face return to school. It has been wonderful to see the students in person as well as engaging with our distance learners on zoom and SeeSaw.

Report cards have been sent out on February 4th for the first Semester. Teachers and students have been working together to set learning goals and next steps for the new semester ahead. We look forward to meeting you for parent conferences on March 2nd and 3rd. More information on how to sign up will be sent out over the coming weeks.

Thank you for all of your support and collaboration during our distance learning throughout January. Thank you for working with students at home to support their learning virtually. We appreciate you.

Greetings from KG2E,

Our little scholars have been busy using their "reading superpowers" to read CVC words, sight words, and grade-level books with purpose and understanding. We are having a wonderful time exploring tricky teen numbers and non-standard measurements in math. We are beginning to write stories with proper punctuation and capitalization across three or more pages.

السلام عليكم الأهل الكرام:

طلاب الروضة الاولى قضوا وقتاً ممتعا في حصص اللغة العربية وقد تعرفوا على الحروف مع الأصوات القصيرة ومدّ الألف ، استمعوا لبعض الأناشيد العربية الممتعة . وقضوا أوقات ممتعة في رسم وتلوين الأحرف والأشكال الهندسية.

تعرّف الصغارعلى أجزاء النباتات من خلال الرسم والمعجون وشاهدوا فيديوهات متنوعة

كان جميع الطلاب متحمسين لمغامرة جديدة وحرف جديد كل أسبوع.

KG1 Arabic

Assalamoualaykoum from Arabic.

Students had a great time during Arabic language. They practiced letters with the short sounds and the long sound Alif (aa). They listened to some interesting Arabic songs. They spent fun times drawing and coloring letters and shapes.

They recognized parts of plants through drawing and watching videos.

All the students were excited about a new adventure and a new letter every week.

تعرفوا على الحروف مع الحركات القصيرة والطويلة وألعاب تعليمية عربية مسلية وممتعة.

أصبحوا قادرين على تأليف وكتابة جمل بسيطة وقراءة الكلمات المتصلة والمنفصلة مع المدود .

كما تعرفوا أفراد الأسرة والأصدقاء.

KG1 Arabic

Assalamoualaykoum from Arabic.

In KG2 during Arabic, we have been exploring letters and words with long and short vowel sounds. We have even been reading and writing simple sentences.

We are also being communicators by talking about family members and friends.
