Dear Parents and Students,

Round 2 of our 3 MAP testing windows are finished. I saw a lot of improvement in the scores this round, well done students! We also had our make up photos this week and I hope that everyone was able to get their photo taken for the yearbook. 

We have only a few days next week and then we will have our term break for February. I think everyone is excited to start the week off short and then everyones favorite, Ramadan!

• Next week is a BLUE Week, the blocks start with EFGHA.

Welcome to Grade 7 Honors Reading Fair

If you attended the parent teacher conferences last week and made it to the gym, you may have noticed some wonderful work displayed.  Below is the photographic evidence of this wonderful Reading Fair. This was completed by the grade 7 honors students.  Their brief was to choose a book they love and using their skills learnt in class about how narratives are structured, as well their own creative genius, they independently produced this work to not only showcase their knowledge and love of books, but also to entice others to be interested in reading too.

Well done to the students how participated. There were a lot of great books on display in poster form and I know that I have added a few to my reading list.  Will you add any to yours?
