Issue # 7 - December 5, 2025
In UAE Social Studies, students engaged in meaningful learning as they celebrated important national events, including Flag Day, Commemoration Day, and National Day. Through creative projects, stage performances, and interactive field activities, students deepened their understanding of the nation’s history, values, and traditions. These hands-on experiences allowed them to express their pride, reflect on the significance of each occasion, and strengthen their connection to the UAE’s rich heritage.
Last Friday, 2C had an amazing time at the color run to conclude the Dubai Fitness Challenge. We loved running through clouds of bright colors, cheering each other on, and celebrating how much stronger and more active we’ve become over the month. It was a fun, messy, laughter-filled morning, and 2C finished the challenge feeling proud, energized, and closer than ever as a class. Thank you to the P.E department for organizing such a fun event.
Grade 5C had an unforgettable week as they celebrated the UAE’s 54th National Day from November 27th to December 2nd. Students were fully immersed in the rich traditions of the nation, participating in cultural dances, sharing delicious traditional foods, and connecting with the heritage and spirit of the UAE through a variety of festive activities.
This celebration aligned perfectly with their current science learning on space systems. Inspired by the UAE’s remarkable Hope Probe, students designed and built their own rovers using recycled materials, showcasing creativity, innovation, and scientific understanding. It was a meaningful connection: as the UAE celebrates 54 years of growth, ambition, and world-shaping achievements, Grade 5C explored similar themes of discovery and possibility through their space-science projects.
A truly inspiring week of culture, learning, and celebration for 5C!
