We are proud to celebrate Siyoung Park on her outstanding university achievement. Having been part of our school community since Grade 3, Siyoung’s journey reflects years of dedication, growth, and perseverance.
She has been accepted to the University of Wisconsin - Madison, her first-choice university, along with several other offers and scholarships. Ranked among the top public universities in the United States and globally recognized for its academic excellence and research impact, the University of Wisconsin–Madison is a remarkable destination for higher education.
Reflecting on her journey, Siyoung shared:
“Some places teach you, but others shape who you become, and GAA did both for me. Along the way, the constant love and support of my parents became the foundation of who I am today, while the guidance of my teachers nurtured my curiosity for learning. With the support of my counselor and Assistant Principal, I found the confidence to move forward with courage. Strong performance in three IB subjects led to my proud acceptance into the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and every challenge helped shape the path to my major.
Forever grateful for the past decade and for every teacher who believed in me along the way.
‘Let your heart lead, always!’ ✨”
Congratulations, Siyoung! We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing all that you will accomplish in this exciting next chapter.
Maryam was selected among 50 shortlisted participants for the prestigious FemTech Hackathon, held at Expo City Dubai. Competing alongside talented young innovators, she was part of the 3rd place winning team, developing a digital app designed to help women optimise their nutrition and support preventative healthcare - an idea focused on empowering women through technology and wellbeing.
The hackathon brought together future changemakers to tackle real-world challenges in women’s health, fostering entrepreneurship, collaboration, and innovation.
Congratulations, Maryam! Your passion for using technology to create meaningful impact truly reflects the spirit of GAA learners—curious, compassionate, and ready to shape the future.
