If you missed free in-school testing of September 19 or 21, please take your child to the designated testing location at Biogenix Lab in Masdar City (school code KS-9086). Students without recent PCR test results will not be able to enter the school premises. Please make sure your child has been tested on or after September 19th.
We are waiting for more instructions from ADEK regarding testing frequency, schedule, cost for upcoming month.
Parents are still required to upload PCR results in the GEMS Parent Portal before school gates open at 7:30 am on Sunday, 26 September for all students aged below 12 attending school on campus. See instructions here: UPLOADING RESULTS ON PORTAL

To speed up the gate check of new PCR results, please send a print out of results to avoid using phones. It helps guards and staff quickly & easily read and check results.

السلام عليكم الأهل الكرام:
طلاب الروضة الاولى قضوا وقتاً ممتعا في حصص العربي وقد تعرفوا على الحروف والألوان، استمعوا لبعض الأناشيد العربية الممتعة. وأمضى طلابنا الأعزاء وقتا جميلا في التعرّف على الاحرف من خلال الانشطة المتنوعة والألعاب.
وكم كان رائعا التحدث في اللغة العربية الفصحى البسيطة. كم أنتم مغامرون أيها الصغار!

We have been working hard and having fun during Arabic classes. We have been learning and recognizing Arabic letters. We have been playing lots of amazing games, to help us with learning letters shapes and counting.
Students have been risk-takers, talking simple standard Arabic. How interesting!

تحيّاتي لكم الأهل الكرام:
طلاب الروضة الثانية استمتعوا خلال حصص العربي التعرف على الحروف والعاب تعليمية عربية مسلية وممتعة.
وأمضى طلابنا الأعزاء وقتا جميلا في تعلّم قراءة حروف مع الفتحة ومد الألف، وفي الكتابة أبدع المغامرون الصغار في كتابة بعض الحروف مع الحركات والمدود وكتبوا أسمائهم.
وكم كان رائعاً التحدث باللغة العربية الفصيحة البسيطة. كم أنتم رائعون ومتواصلون أيها الصغار!

We have had a great time in Arabic! We had lots of fun learning Arabic. The students have been working hard, learning how to read their first syllables in Arabic. In writing they have demonstrated that they are very knowledgeable by writing their names. Students have tried to be risk-takers by writing syllables on their own and write their names. They have been taking turns to talk simple standard Arabic. How awesome little Arabic learners!

Dear Parents,
It’s picture time again! Stu Williamson Photography are returning this year and will be at GAA to take KG and Elementary student photos from September 26 to September 30.
Stu Williamson is the leading school photographer in the UAE and is renowned for its quality photographs. The photo sessions will take place during the day and are planned to cause the least disruption to your child’s day.
Your child's teacher will share the schedule of photoshoot.

You are under no obligation to purchase the photos, however taking a photo is mandatory. We need a photo of every student for our database and other school-related events. Please make sure not to schedule doctor’s appointments or other conflicting events that day, and make sure your child arrives for school on time, with the proper school uniform. Your child may bring a brush or comb to tidy their own hair, but we are unable to do this for them. Please note that the photographers may request different poses from your child, some smiling with teeth, some without, to offer a multitude of options to you, and if you child wears glasses, they may be asked to take them off for a photo, this is purely for editing reasons if there is a glare from the glasses.
