Dear GAA families,
A huge thank you to our Arabic department for arranging activities National Day celebrations last week. It was wonderful to see all the students in their National Day dress and they were so excited to discuss and share about what they were wearing. We hope you had a great long weekend celebrating with family and friends.
Winter break is upon us and as we wind down, we reflect on the experiences we have had in our first semester. It has been an unprecedented time with many challenges and uncertainty during this pandemic. But what is certain, is the support and unity of our GAA community. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you for your continued support. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have all navigated the ‘new normal’. Finally, thank you for choosing us to be part of your child’s first experience of education. We have been committed to ensuring our KG vision for learning is embedded in all that we do, even while wearing masks and socially distancing. We look ahead, with excitement, for 2021 and we are already beginning to plan activities and engagements to kick off the new year. Stay tuned!

أولياء الأمور الكرام،
تحيّة طيبة وبعد،
استمتع طلاب رياض الأطفال خلال حصص اللّغة العربيّة في التّعرّف على مجموعة من حروف الهجاء، كما قام طلابنا الأعزاء بالعديد من الأنشطة الّتي تطّور مهارات اللّغة الأربع.
وقد أمضى طلابنا الأعزاء وقتًا جميلاً في التّدرٌّب على نشيدةٍ تُعبّر عن حبهم لدولةِ الإمارات العزيزة، بالإضافةِ إلى الاحتفال بيوم الاتحاد العظيم ، أدام اللّه الأمن والأمان لدولتنا العزيزة.
مع تمنياتنا للجميع بقضاء عطلةَ شتاء دافئة وسعيدة.
The first term is about to finish, it has passed almost as fast as lightning. KG1 and KG2 have learned a combination of letters as well as celebrating the National Day (God cherished the Union ) . The students did various activities in addition to teach the students how to express their love for the United Arab Emirates. I wish you a wonderful warm winter break, with memorable moments and we look forward to seeing you in the second semester with joy and full of enthusiasm.

ORDER FORM 2020-21.pdfWe can all agree that this year is very unique and our lives are very different than before.
The 2020/2021 yearbook will have a very personal feel to it and will capture the craziness of this school year.
Due to safety restrictions and considering that number of our students are still on full distance learning, we will not have Stu Williamson take student formal photos at school this year. In case things change, we may schedule the photoshoot for March 2021.
This is where we need our Parents and Students' help:
For KG/Elementary, we ask that parents send a recent picture of their child doing anything they like, eating, playing, exercising... clear face and good lighting.
For MS/HS, we ask that students send us a selfie, that can be funny but appropriate.
Homeroom and advisory teachers will reach out to their students/parents shortly with details. We hope to get the photos before the Winter Break.
Let's make a delicious lemonade out of the lemons, so generously given by 2020!
