Do you remember when you were at school and had to learn all the songs and victory cries about your school when competing against the other schools. Well, one victory cry went like this:
“We are class KG1B and no one could be prouder, and if you cannot hear us…..we will shout a little louder”
Then we would call again…louder.
“We are class KG1B and no one could be prouder, and if you cannot hear us…..we will shout a little louder”
Then we would call again…louder.
“WE ARE CLASS KG1B AND NO ONE COULD BE PROUDER, AND IF YOU CANNOT HEAR US…..WE WILL SHOUT A LITTLE LOUDER!”
“KG1 BBBBBBBBB!!!!”
As we draw to the end of a tumultuous first year of school, I can tell you that I want to chant a victory chant for my class. What a wonderful group of children. GEMS American Academy can be so proud of its students who have consistently exhibited the IB learner profiles over and over again, as they have navigated their way through the course of their first year of schooling. Whether it has been at school in the classroom or at home doing distance learning, this little group of students have bravely put their best feet forward and learned, tried, played and enjoyed every day. I really wish I had longer with them………Enjoy some photos of KG1B enjoying their mornings with us and as they enjoy exploring and learning about their last unit of Inquiry for this year: How the World Works.
We have been busy in KG PE learning and exploring how to use a basketball. We are also learning how to take turns in PE.
We are very busy with the weekly GAA House Challenge in PE too. The boys and girls are doing a wonderful job gaining points for their houses. They look great in their house t-shirts too.
Dear GAA Families,

Alternatively, you can pay (AED 175) at school.
Do not hesitate to contact us at pre_gaa@gemsedu.com if you have any questions.
Dear Families,
We are required by ADEK to update Student and Parent Emirates IDs on ADEK student database (esis). As we are nearing end of school year, it is important that information on ADEK student database is up-to-date, as this may block the student transfers. Please bring your and your child(ren)'s ORIGINAL EMIRATES IDs to school to scan.
If you do not have a 96-hour valid PCR test or E sign on your Al Hosn App, a member of Admissions team will collect the IDs at the Main Gate 1 to scan and will return right away.
Alternatively you may send the IDs with your child.
Thank you.

The school shall not administer any medicines to the child.
The school will inform the parents about the nearest hospital and COVID-19 testing center.
If the child tests positive for COVID-19, parents are mandated to inform the school so that they can take measures to secure the health of other students and staff who may have been exposed to the virus.
