About

Cadet Robotics was founded in 2016 by Hilton Technology Teacher Mrs. Stephanie Mattice.  From our establishment we have been generously sponsored by BauschHealth. 

Our first competition was the Rah-Cha-Cha Ruckus event in 2017 where we were sponsored by FIRST Team 340 from Churchville NY.  Our first complete season was 2018- FIRST Power Up.  In that season we were awarded the Rookie All Star Award at the Finger Lakes Regional and traveled to the world championship event in Detroit Michigan where we were awarded the Rookie All Star Award in our division. 

We now have grown and share a WAREhouse space with Team 3015 from Spencerport NY and Team 340 from Churchville NY.  2026 will be our 9th year competing and we are excited to give it all we've got!  

The mission of Hilton Robotics is to provide students the opportunity to learn and grow as problem solvers, critical thinkers, and leaders while building the self confidence and other life skills necessary to succeed in life after high school, through the guidance of teachers and mentors and the participation in FIRST Robotics Competitions.  As members of the FIRST community, we embody the values of gracious professionalism and coopertition, as laid out by FIRST founders, in order to inspire our teammates, classmates, and competitors.

• 2021 Season: Magnesium Group Engineering Design Award

• 2023 Season: Finger Lakes Regional Winners, World Championships Participant

• 2024 Season: Finger Lakes Regional Semifinalists

• 2025 Season: Finger Lakes Regional Semifinalists
