THE BOAT

The Palm Beach 1900 DL is perfectly suited for fishing the waters of Pine Island Sound.  The craft sports a Yamaha F115 Outboard engine, trim tabs, hydraulic steering, and a center console live well for live bait.  She cruises at just over 26 knots at top speed and can get into relatively shallow water while still having the benefits of a bay boat with a dryer ride.  

Under certain conditions and at certain times of the year, we will also utilize a 40 gallon on deck livewell for larger live bait storage.  This livewell is particularly useful when we are pursuing Megalops Atlanticus aka the Atlantic Tarpon aka “The Silver King”.  

This vessel is fully equipped with a self-bailing deck, 22 rod holders, leaning post, T-top, raw water wash down, 8-ft power pole with remote control, 24v Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor with remote control and GPS spot lock, Lowrance Hook 2 GPS/fish finder, T-bag, and ample dry storage/tackle compartments.
