Circadian Clocks & Metabolism
Quantitative Modeling Lab

Welcome!

We focus on the applications of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for the development of Dynamic Quantitative Models of Circadian Clocks and Metabolism. Our research projects cover investigating the interactions between the Circadian Clock and Metabolism, including Nutritional Perturbation & Metabolic Compensation. We also look at the effects of Diets on the Clock and Metabolism. We seek highly motivated individuals who have a strong interest in the above topics to join the lab. Please contact me via email.

News

  • [Publication] 2022.11. We constructed the first comprehensive dynamic quantitative model of the mTOR signaling pathway and applied it to study the infection of SARS-CoV-2. This model can be used as a platform for investigating novel therapeutic strategies and administration times against COVID-19. The related works have been published in the Proceedings of IEEE BIBE 2022.

  • [Industry-academia Cooperation] 2021.01. We sign the contract of industry-academia cooperation with Genesys Logic to develop AI-powered liver health diagnostic methods.

  • [Publication] 2020.07. We collaborated with Academia Sinica and Assiut University, Egypt to develop the nutrient sialic acid derivatives as potent Siglec-2/CD22 inhibitors. The related works have been published in the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (SCI, IF=5.572, 5/61, CHEMISTRY, MEDICINAL).
