Recent projects coordinated (Principal Investigator) at the University of Bucharest:
2021-2023: The project RIS4CIVIS: Research and Innovation Strategy for CIVIS in the CIVIS European University Alliance (European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement N° 101016691). I was the institutional coordinator of the project at the University of Bucharest. I was also the leader of Module 5: “Mainstreaming of Open Science” in RIS4CIVIS.
2020-2022: Making Modern Science: tracing the dynamics of a ‘Cartesian Newtonian textbook’ during the Scientific Revolution - CartesianPhysics (UEFISCDI, Project Code: PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2019-0841).
2018-2020: Early Modern Cosmology Between “Mosaic Physics” and Mechanical Philosophy (1650-1713) - Cosmology (UEFISCDI, Project Code: PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2016-0710).
Currently, I am member of the research team for the project Avatar agency. Moral responsibility at the intersection of individual, collective, and artificial social entities in emergent avatar communities (avataResponsibility; ERC funded project by the European Union ERC 101117761).

I am part of the expert groups digital transformations (HUB5. Digital and Technological transformation) and open science (“Task Force Open Science” and “Expert Group Open Science” in CIVIS, “Module 5. Mainstreaming of Open Science” in RIS4CIVIS) in the European university alliance, CIVIS. I am a member of the Research Council of the CIVIS alliance.

2025-2026: Project coordinator for the CoARA Boost grant (Horizon), "Laboratory of Engagement with Research Assessment Reform (LERAR): exchanging good practices between three members of one European university alliance, CIVIS." A Teaming, project, developed at the University of Bucharest in collaboration with Universidad Autonoma de Madrid și Aix-Marseille University.
2024-2026: Project Coordinator at the University of Bucharest for the project “Știința Deschisă (Open Science) și reforma evaluării rezultatelor cercetării: Elaborarea unui plan de acțiune în cadrul participării Universității din București la CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment)” [Open Science and the Research Assessment Reform: preparing the University of Bucharest’s action plan for CoARA], as part of the Grant program for Increasing Institutional Performance and Priorities in Priority Areas of the University of Bucharest.
2024-2026: Project Coordinator for the project “Noi orizonturi în evaluarea rezultatelor cercetării” [New Horizons in Research Assessment], a team-project aiming to chart the practices of Open Access publications at the University of Bucharest.
