Recent projects coordinated (Principal Investigator) at the University of Bucharest:

Currently, I am member of the research team for the project Avatar agency. Moral responsibility at the intersection of individual, collective, and artificial social entities in emergent avatar communities (avataResponsibility; ERC funded project by the European Union ERC 101117761).

I organise and co-organise seminars and scientific events at the Humanities division of the ICUB. For the seminars hosted at the ICUB, see the Research Seminars page.

I am part of the expert groups digital transformations (HUB5. Digital and Technological transformation) and open science (“Task Force Open Science” and “Expert Group Open Science” in CIVIS, “Module 5. Previous research grants:

2020-2022: Principal Investigator of the research project Making Modern Science: tracing the dynamics of a ‘Cartesian Newtonian textbook’ during the Scientific Revolution - CartesianPhysics (UEFISCDI, Project Code: PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2019-0841).

2018-2020: Principal Investigator of the research project on Early Modern Cosmology Between “Mosaic Physics” and Mechanical Philosophy (1650-1713) - Cosmology (UEFISCDI, Project Code: PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2016-0710).

2017-2018: Member in the research project The emergence of mathematical physics in the context of experimental philosophy (2017-2019, project manager Dana Jalobeanu. CNCS grant no. 79/2017).

2010-2013: Post-Doctoral research grant at the University of Bucharest (POSDRU ID 62259). Title of the research project: Schimbări de paradigmă şi naşterea ştiinţelor moderne. Recepţia tratatului de filosofie naturală carteziană a lui Jacques Rohault în Anglia (Paradigm Shifts and the Birth of Modern Science. The reception of Jacques Rohault’s Cartesian treatise on natural philosophy in England).

2008-2011: Member in the research project Stiinta, politica si utopie in Republica Literelor: Modele de producere si diseminare a cunoasterii in modernitatea timpurie (Science,Politics and Utopia in the Republic of Letters: Models of Producing and Disseminating Knowledge in Early modern Europe), project manager: Vlad Alexandrescu. 2008-2009: NEC-link grant for teaching the course on “Beyond Kuhnian paradigms: philosophy of science within historical context” (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest). Director of grant: Dana Jalobeanu. Course offered in co-teaching system together with Dana Jalobeanu and Prof. Ilie Parvu. Grant offered by New Europe College.

2008: Research grant (PICNIC) for Ph.D. candidates at Radboud University Nijmegen (The Netherlands).
