Although Orange County is made up largely of urban areas, a significant portion of the region still contains undeveloped hills made up of plants and animals. Unfortunately, the eastern part of these hills caught fire only a few months ago, burning over 23,000 acres. Pictured on the right is a firefighter who worked on putting out the unstable fire. Luckily, no one died from the fire, but the man suspected of starting the fire will face adverse consequences. If this fire taught us anything, it is that we need to be wary about fires in Orange County and in California overall.
