We were so happy to have Debbie, a licensed music therapist and neurologic music therapist, speak with us today! We had a wonderful time learning about the history of music in medicine and various music therapy techniques.

Arden records

The founders of Arden Records, Jordan Smith & Andrew Kwan, spoke with us about the therapeutic effects of Lo-Fi music and the work that goes behind the production. It was so interesting learning about how they sample sounds from nature!

Abraham chobajian

Abraham, a UCLA alum and a current medical student, spoke with us about the science behind earworms. What makes a music so sticky? And what is the biology behind an annoying tune that we just can't get out of our heads? We had so much fun learning from Abraham!
