Do not submit an application until you receive an email from Student Affairs with a list of available courses that are in need of TA(s).

TA Training Workshops

Designed to support TAs in building their teaching toolkit and to create inclusive and supportive learning environments, workshops are offered from Week 2 through Week 9 of fall quarter. Browse the Center for the Advancement of Teaching's workshop offerings and register here!

Foundations of Teaching Workshop Series 

If you are new to TA-ing and want to build your teaching toolkit, check out our Foundations of Teaching workshop series, five workshops that cover everything you need to know to prepare for your first quarter in the classroom. These workshops can be taken in any order. 

Remote Teaching Workshops

Short on time but new to remote teaching? Our Creating Community Remotely and Leading Discussion Sections Remotely workshops will support you in proactively setting up inclusive, remote environments that support your students during remote instruction.

Drop In Instructional Support for TAs at CAT
