Miriam Marlier is an Assistant Professor of Global Environmental Change in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. She has a B.S. in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences from UCLA and a Ph.D. in Earth & Environmental Sciences from Columbia University.
Claire is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Her research is focused on examining wildfire and forest management impacts on air pollution exposures, particularly among vulnerable populations. Claire holds a BA in Biology and Anthropology from Bowdoin College, an MPH from Boston University, and a PhD in Environmental Health from the University of Washington.
Claire is a PhD student in the Environmental Health Sciences department at UCLA. She is interested in using remote sensing and atmospheric modeling to study wildfire pollution and predict the effects of prescribed burning. Claire obtained a Bachelor's of Science from Brown University in Geology-Biology.
Tyler is a Ph.D. student in the Environmental Health Sciences Department. His research interests center around extreme weather events and natural disasters along with the various effects they have on human health. He obtained his B.S. in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley and his M.P.H. in Environmental Health Sciences at UCLA's Fielding School of Public Health.
Melissa is an undergraduate student studying Environmental Science and a SLAGC Scholar at UCLA. She is interested in researching and modeling exposures to air pollutants from wildfires in California.
Gwen is an undergraduate student studying Environmental Science and a Sustainable LA Grand Challenge scholar at UCLA. She is interested in researching the impacts of climate change and environmental exposures on human health, particularly in vulnerable communities.
