As mentioned, I am a senior at UCLA studying Political science. One thing I love about my major is how it helps me understand the world around me. Political science dives into a little bit of economics, sociology, and anthropology. While studying Political Science, I have gained a broader view of the world and have learned to become more accepting and understanding of those around me.
I am interested in researching more about the election cycle and human behavior in the Los Angeles area. This is especially interesting to me because this affects the future of my community.
I have taken extensive courses in international politics, globalization, suburbanization, electoral campaigning, modern and premodern East Asian political theory, American politics, globalization, and political philosophy
Aside from major-related courses I have taken courses in macro/micro economics, legal communication, and public speaking.
I have two associate's degrees from Santa Monica College in Political Science and Arts & Humanities. I have also won honors awards from Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Gamma Sigma, and the Dean's Honor List.
