This online seminar is to bring together international scholars, mathematicians and engineers alike, to share mathematical ideas in image processing and related topics.
The field of image processing had been a place where various mathematical objects were introduced to provide proper interpretation and understanding of images via mathematical modeling until artificial intelligence turned out to be a better tool for some applications. The scale of change was unprecedented and more diverse research tools are now available. We hope that this online seminar broadens and deepens our understanding of the field and of the state-of-the-art research tools by the mathematical insights from various research groups with different background.
